Definition is an hip hop artist out of Andover, Britain. “The Roots” switches back and forth between being fairly mellow and then coming on a little more aggressive. The ambient vocals give the track an anchor and fill the space out nicely. This made an instant home on my playlist.

Kellee Maize is a hip hop artist out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who has been holding down the number 3 spot on the “Amazon Rap & Hip Hop” charts these past few weeks. Got an email not long ago with “I rap about yoga and chakras” in the subject line and have been looking forward to getting this post in.

I’ve been addicted to “The Fire” from The Roots ninth studio album “How I Got Over” since I first heard it. The beautifully shot music video debuted a couple days and just furthers my appreciation for the song. I’ve been pretty obsessed with post apocalyptic scenarios for quite awhile now so this is right up my alley.

I’d hope by now you’ve heard the new B.o.B. album, “The Adventures of Bobby Ray”. Fairly solid album, but honestly, I would be very disappointed if it didn’t deliver. With all the guest spots, it’s easy to see that B.oB. is being pushed as the next “Wayne,Drake,etc” and only time will tell if he’ll make the cut.
