Automatic Toys is an electro rock band out of Toronto, Canada. The wobblicious “Deep Sleep” is filled with plenty of harmonic synths and the rock vocals simply set it off. These guys just posted a few new tracks on their myspace which can be heard here. Can’t wait to what these guys do next.

From her seventh studio album, here’s the new Britney Spears single “Hold It Against Me”. She collaborated with Rusko on this album so you can expect plenty of wobble wobbles and gated leads. The album will be released in March of this year. Enjoy.

This is very exciting for anyone who likes dub-step. I’ve talked in the past about the genre breaking into the mainstream market and here it is. With world wide reach and an enormous budget for marketing, this is it. Weather you like “Hold It Against Me” or not, the big picture is that Britney is a “safe artist”.
What I mean… Kiss FM isn’t exactly running any risk to themselves by playing any of Britney Spear’s music.
What the big picture means… if received well, other dub-step artists will now have a path to follow.

First of all, happy fucking new year. I hope yours has been as great as mine so far. If not don’t worry, we’re only three days in.
Second, we have some super secret things in the works to make the Ohh! So Famous! listening experience more enjoyable. As we launch these features we want you to email us with your feedback.
Third, I have a great dub-step remix out of Blackmill to throw up here. This dude is looking to use the proceeds of his music to buy an old house he grew up in with his Grandparents and if his remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Your Song” is a measure of what’s to come… this may happen sooner rather than later.

Skrillex dropped a track on soundcloud that he found while rummaging through his hard drive a few days ago. Has a very 70′s meets electro dub feel and has appropriately been defined as a “Disco Step” track. Wobble Wobble.
TRON comes out today. IMAX here I come.

PS: Shout out to Daft Punk for actually making a sound score to the movie rather than show boating a new Daft Punk album.

Been super in love with these two remixes out of Kill Paris. Both start out with the trance sounds that overwhelmed the clubs in the 90′s and then move right on into the mutilated synths that are Kill Paris. While similar, they both just seem to say, “Let’s destroy something beautiful.”

Zeds Dead is DC and Hooks from Ontario, Canada. They originally sampled hip-hop and released material under the name Mass Productions. As they moved towards the future, Zeds Dead was born. Moving into the realm of dub-step and dropping heavy tracks has landed them a coast to coast tour in the United States. You can find dates here.

Well I love Underoath, Dubstep, and creatures that hang out in stores next to Pocky. J.Lindley out of Orlando, Florida brings us a giant metal-step remix of “Illuminator”.

It’s 4:30 am here and I feel like posting new Dubstep.
I love gritty distorted bass and blip leads so it makes a ton of sense why this next act made a home on my playlist. Here is Broken Haze dropping some giant new tracks out of Neo Tokyo in Japan.

On to the next, we’ve got a brand new track out of Excess. I like this track because it has that whole “I’m meant for big things, I’ve got a plan and this is fucking it” vibe.

~Ohh! So Famous!

Ohh! So Famous! is a music blog.
I’ll be posting everything music from A to Z .. and even some numbers occasionally.
I’ve been listening to tons of Dub lately so let’s kick it off.
Nero originally started out making DnB tracks and have had no problem making their transition into Dub-step. The constant build up’s, drops, and breakdowns in Innocence give you everything you’d expect from a Spring anthem and more.

Next up we have a 16 Bit Remix of Plan B’s “She Said”. This track is MASSIVE. The gritty and painful bass line rips through your speakers leaving you begging for more.
